Isle of Man lay the marker down for Gibraltar

The Isle of Man have set Gibraltar a challenging target in the U19 Cricket Championships.

The rain delayed match got underway just after one o'clock, Gibraltar won the toss and opted to put the Manx in to bat.

In 42 overs the Manx batsmen put up a very credible 177 for the loss of only three wickets.

Carl Wagstaffe chalked up 78 runs and Max Stokoe 40.

The teams have gone for tea, play will resume in around ten minutes
