Bronchitis blow for Bellis

by isleofman.com 27th July 2011

Manx professional cyclist Jonny Bellis has suffered a setback as he continues his return to full fitness and regular racing.

The Saxo Bank rider has contracted bronchitis, forcing him to pull out of the Tour of Poland, which starts this weekend.

He's spent the last couple of weeks at a high altitude training camp in the Alps.

Bellis sustained serious head injuries in a scooter accident near Florence in Italy in September 2009 and was kept in an induced coma for several weeks.
