RESIDENTS around the Island were on the receiving end of random acts of kindness from Sure staff at the weekend.
Following the success of Sure's Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Day earlier this year they decided to do it all again on Friday and Saturday.
Every year, National RAK Day is celebrated at various times of the year in numerous countries across the world.
Businesses, community groups and schools come together to spread a little cheer by performing random acts of kindness on friends, family and complete strangers.
Celebrating the last day of term, the Sure team handed out fresh muffins to parents dropping off their children at Ballacottier School.
Later in the day there were more surprises for both staff and pupils at St Ninian's High School in Douglas and Ramsey Grammar School when Sure delivered cakes and ice creams.
Saturday saw even more delights for residents across the Island including free steam train journeys from Douglas and free bowling at Sure Strike in Ramsey.
As the sun emerged, beaches across the Island were filled with friends and families enjoying the nice weather.
Sure spread the summer joy at Port Erin, Peel and Douglas beaches handing out beach balls, kites, buckets, spades and ice cream vouchers.
The kites were a huge hit on Peel beach taking over the sky line.
Rose Dahlan of Sure said: "It's our way to give something back to the community.
"The day was a massive success with everyone enjoying all the surprises.
"We hope all recipients passed on the positive karma by performing a thoughtful act to someone else.
"It's often the simple acts that make a difference, such as carrying someone else's shopping bag or buying cakes for your work colleagues.
"It's a great feeling having done something nice for someone and spreading some cheer around."
