Isle of Man media invited to Noble's Hospital for 'Manx Food Week'

THE Noble’s Hospital ‘Manx Food Week’, which started on Monday, sees members of the Isle of Man media given an invitation to the hospital’s staff restaurant tomorrow (Wednesday).

 

This event has proved to be a huge success in previous years and showcases the quality of local Manx produce and its use within the hospital catering unit for both patients and staff.

 

The event will commence at lunchtime in the Staff Restaurant at Noble’s Hospital and in attendance from the retail organisations will be two local producers - Green Mann Spring and Manx Hampers - who will be displaying their products.

 

Tomorrow’s event will be attended by a number of senior government executives, including David Killip, CEO Department of Health, Mrs Lesley Keenan, COO/Deputy CEO Department of Health, Norman McGregor Edwards, Director of Health Strategy and Performance and Neil Mellon, Corporate Services Divisional Manager.
