Mark Cavendish, the 26 year-old Manx sprint superstar, is earning himself and the Isle of Man publicity all around the world.

'Green Giant' is a headline repeated across many of the papers today as they hail his sprinters’ green jersey success in the Tour de France.

An elated Cavendish has been described by British cyclist David Millar as the 'greatest sprinter in cycling history'.
