Help could be at hand for people struggling to pay the rent.
Economic Development Minister Allan Bell says government needs to think about how it can help people cope with the burden of high private rents.
Mr Bell was speaking to Manx Radio in the wake of Tynwald's decision, last week, to increase support for first time buyers.
