No time to dwell on VAT bombshell, says challenger

A Douglas councillor standing in September’s General Election says last week’s VAT bombshell should focus minds and act as an opportunity for the Island to progress.

Richard Kissack, who runs a recruitment agency in the capital, is bidding for one of the House of Keys seats in East Douglas.

And he believes rather than dwell on the latest cut in the Island's VAT share, money can be saved by assessing certain government overheads.
