Leukemia survivor sails to Island during fund raising trip

A leukemia survivor who's sailing around the UK to help recruit bone marrow donors is in the Isle of Man this week.

Oliver Rofix from Suffolk was diagnosed with the disease six years ago, but survived thanks to a bone marrow transplant.

He's currently berthed in Peel where he hopes to raise awareness and funds for the Anthony Nolan Trust.

Mr Rofix says he wants to use his journey in a restored yacht to help others with blood cancer:
