Time to break voter apathy

by isleofman.com 20th July 2011

It's time to break the apathy with the Isle of Man's politicians and voters.

That's according to the Isle of Man Trade's Council.

Yesterday it launched a campaign with the tongue-in-cheek name 'The Axe Factor' and asked the question, "are politicians worth what they're paid?"

President Angela Moffatt says the aim is to get people talking about the issues that matter and help them decide how to vote in September.

She says there's a feeling MHKs are detached from the general public and this is their chance to put that right.
