Police seek driver who hit car and failed to stop

POLICE are appealing for information after a motorist hit a parked car and drove off without leaving their details.

 

The collision happened on Friday, July 15, between 3pm and 7pm, causing extensive damage to the driver's side of a dark red Citroen C8.

 

It is not known what type of vehicle hit the car which was parked near to the junction of St Catherine's Drive and Westbourne Drive in Douglas.

 

Police have requested for the driver of the vehicle which failed to stop to come forward and speak to them.

 

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who knows the identity of either the driver or the vehicle involved is asked to contact PC Andrew Lloyd at Lord Street Police Station on 01624 631212.
