KPMG was named Accountancy Firm of the Year at the Global Investor Awards earlier this month.

It acknowledges the company's commitment as leading financial advisers to the investment management industry.

The awards recognise the greatest contributions to asset management and asset servicing in the past 12 months.

They are classified into three broad categories - survey winners, investment excellence and editorial awards.

The award ceremony took place at a gala dinner at the Grange City Hotel, in London, on July 6.
