Podiatry clinics relocated due to outbreak of norovirus

by isleofman.com 19th July 2011

A NUMBER of podiatry clinics in Ramsey have been relocated due to a suspected outbreak of the norovirus.

The clinics, which are usually held at Cummal Mooar Residential Care Home, have been moved to Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital.

The change of location will apply to all clinics from today (Tuesday) until Friday.

A spokesperson for the Department of Health said this was an "infection control precaution" to minimise the risk of infection spreading to patients.

Anyone with an appointment should attend the outpatient area of the Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital. For more information contact the podiatry team on 01624 642652.
