Extensive damage caused to car

A CAR parked in Murray's Road, Douglas, was badly damaged at the weekend when someone walked over it.

 

Police said extensive damage was caused to the bonnet, roof and the car's rear spoiler which was stamped off causing the rear windscreen to shatter.

 

It happened between 8am and 8.30pm on Saturday and police are appealing for witnesses.

 

It is understood £700 worth of damage was caused to the gold Citroen Saxo car and anyone with information should contact PC Andrew Greaves at Lord Street Police Station or ring Police Headquarters on 631212.
