All the vacancies in the Anglican Church in the Isle of Man have now been filled.
Bishop Robert has appointed the Reverend Doctor Joe Heaton as the priest-in-charge at Rushen, and the scientist-turned-cleric will be licensed to the parish this autumn.
Reverend Heaton grew up in Yorkshire and was a physicist until being ordained as a deacon in 2008.
