POLICE are investigating the theft of a hanging basket from outside a house on Laxey promenade overnight on Friday.

The hanging basket was stolen from outside the premises of Classy Canine, The Promenade, Laxey  some time between 7pm Friday July 15 and 10.50am Saturday July 16.

The premises are at the far end of the promenade adjoining the public toilet block.

The hanging basket is described as being planted with full grown dark coloured petunias and blue trailing lobelia contained in a brown wicker basket.
