LVP anger as chairman is asked to leave chamber

Onchan MHK and Liberal Vannin leader Peter Karran says he is outraged after his party chairman was asked to leave reserved seating in Tynwald.

Kate Beecroft was following proceedings from a part of the viewing area normally set aside for invited visitors and government officials, and was asked to move to the public gallery.

President of Tynwald Clare Christian said she didn't think it was appropriate for a candidate in September’s general election to sit in the court.

Afterwards, Mr Karran accused the government of hypocrisy:
