Open day for prosthetic and orthotic users

by isleofman.com 17th July 2011

PEOPLE who use the prosthetic and orthotics service in the Isle of Man have been invited to an open day to see new technology and appliances available.

The Department of Health recently announced that Opcare Ltd had been awarded a five year contract to provide the service in the Island, taking over from Chas Blachfords on August 5.

The open day will provide service users with a chance to meet the new team and get demonstrations of the new equipment.

It will be held on Thursday, July 21, between 9am and 2.30pm at the Central Community Health Centre on Westmoreland Road in Douglas.
