Suicide verdict at Laxey man's inquest

A Laxey man took his own life after suffering years of depression, an inquest has heard.

The body of Kenneth Merryweather was washed up on Perwick Beach in March.

A post mortem examination showed the 61-year-old, of Old Laxey Hill, had drowned.

A suicide verdict was recorded at Douglas courthouse today (Friday).
