Lloyds announces senior Island appointments

TWO new senior appointments have been announced by the Lloyds banking group which will cover the Isle of Man and other islands in the bank’s network.

 

Wendy Leedham has been confirmed as Head of Islands Retail and Simon Prescott as Head of Islands Corporate Banking.

 

 today announced his senior team. After restructuring the Group’s Wealth offering into two distinct businesses, UK and International, a new team has been announced by Russell Galley, recently appointed managing director of Lloyds Banking Group’s International Wealth business.

 

It will now cater for all affluent and wealthy customers residing outside of the UK together with island residents, and commercial and corporate customers operating in the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

 

Wendy Leedham’s role covers the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey. She has undertaken a variety of leadership positions in retail and international banking for the group and has extensive experience in the expatriate market. In her role she retains responsibility for leading International Wealth’s retail business in the islands.

 

Simon Prescott will continue to lead the group’s offshore business for corporate clients operating in the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man whilst additionally taking responsibility for the Bank’s interface with the regulator and community affairs. Both will sit on the International Wealth Executive Committee and Board of Lloyds TSB Offshore Ltd.

 

Russell Galley said, "The Channel Islands and Isle of Man remain one of our traditionally strong markets. We are proud of our heritage and history in the islands and see the market as having continued key significance for Lloyds Banking Group."
