Young photographers urged to enter Spirit of the Isle of Man competition

by isleofman.com 15th July 2011

YOUNG photographers have been invited to submit their best photographs of the Isle of Man as part of a photography competition organised by Crowe Morgan.

The chartered accountants are appealing for as many entries as possible for the competition which will see winning images used to create a desktop calendar.

David Morgan, a partner of Crowe Morgan, said: "We want to involve young people in producing our calendar for 2012 with the theme of 'Spirit of the Isle of Man'.

"We know there are some talented young photographers on the Island who will have captured a uniquely Manx image and we would encourage them to submit their photographs for our competition. Our calendars are sent all over the world."

13 winners will be presented with £100 in vouchers, a copy of the calendar and a framed copy of their photograph.

The competition is open to people aged between 11 and 18. For further information and entry forms please contact Lorna Trevethan by e-mailing lornatrevethan@crowemorgan.com or telephoning 01624 665100.

Entries must be received by Friday, September 23.
