A police officer charged with causing the death of a Manx student in Sheffield is appearing in court again today (Friday).
Jamie Haslett from Onchan, who was studying at Sheffield Hallam University, died last October after being hit by a South Yorkshire Police car in the city.
Forty-one-year-old officer PC Rodney Craig Mills faces a charge of causing death by dangerous driving and is appearing at Bradford Magistrates Court.
Jamie, a former St Ninian's High School student, was in his second year studying sport and business management.
He played football for Laxey and was a member of Manx Harriers.
