MICHAEL Dunlop has won the Solo Championship race at today's Southern 100 races.

He finished in a total time of 20:38:549 with an average speed of 111.178mph. Dunlop also set a new lap record of 112.541mph in the process.

Guy Martin came second in 20:43:601 and Ryan Farquhar third in 20:45:044.

Klaus Klaffenbock and Dan Sayle won the Sidecar Championship Race with Simon Neary and Jason Crow in second and Ian and Carl Bell in third.
