Onchan MHK Peter Karran received a dressing down from the newly installed President of Tynwald this morning.
Just two days into the job Clare Christian showed a distinct no-nonsense attitude when she sternly reprimanded Mr Karran for lack of clarity.
Mr Karran had called for a divide on item 30 on the order paper, but this did not come about as he had been late in calling for it and Mrs Christian could not hear him.
