400cc victory for Howarth; Palmer triumphant in tiddler class

The combined 400cc and 125cc race, held over from last night, closed out this morning's race schedule at the Southern 100.

Alistair Howarth led from start to finish to take the 400cc win.

Dave Madsen-Mygdal battled his way up the field to take second and Peter Simpson was third.

In the Station Garage sponsored 125cc race Castletown's Chris Palmer emerged victorious; Ian Lougher then Nigel Moore the runners-up in the lightweight class.
