No breaks for Fulton

by isleofman.com 13th July 2011

Si Fulton has no fractures following Tuesday evening's crash at the Iron Gate during a practice session at the Southern 100 meeting.

The Onchan rider was taken to hospital by ambulance after being struck by his own bike in the incident, and is being monitored for some head and chest injuries.

There's further action around the Billown Circuit this evening, with four races scheduled.

Last night's opening two races were thrillers and included Michael Dunlop setting a new absolute lap record.

Here's commentator Maurice Mawdsley describing the action (listen to audio file below):

Roads close at 6.05 this evening and will reopen no later than 9.40pm. There will be full commentary on Manx Radio, on our FM frequencies from 6.15pm.
