Thief forces church window to steal laptop

by isleofman.com 13th July 2011

A THIEF has forced open a 125 year old stained glass window at a church in Ramsey to steal a laptop.

It happened between July 2 and July 9 at St Olave's Church on the Bowring Road.

The laptop, a black gloss Samsung R700 with a 17 inch screen, was used by the church to create literature and magazines.

It had been left in full view of the window and as such police have reminded members of the public about the dangers of leaving valuables on display.

If anyone has any information on this incident or thinks they have bought the laptop unsuspectingly please contact PC Sam Cannell at Ramsey Police Station on 01624 812234 or Crimestoppers on 01624 631212.
