THERE is a chance to meet Olympic athlete Kriss Akabusi today.

The British track athlete is in the Island to support Barclays Wealth as part of the preparations for this year's Commonwealth Youth Games.

He won gold in the 400 metres hurdles at the 1990 European championships, gold in the 4 x 400 metres relay at the 1991 world championships, silver in the 4 x 400 metres relay at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and bronze in the 1991 400 metres hurdles world championships.

Kriss will be in the Barclays Wealth branch in Victoria Street in Douglas between 1.30pm and 2.30pm along with the official Commonwealth Youth Games mascot Tosha.
