Chance to enroll for free Manx classes

by isleofman.com 8th July 2011

Free classes are being offered to anyone who wants to brush up on their Manx Gaelic.

They are being run by the Manx language officer for the Heritage Foundation Adrian Cain, in Ballabeg later this month.

Mr Cain says he is heartened by the commitment and enthusiasm towards learning he has seen in recent times.

He says the aim is to encourage and enthuse, and that's why there is no charge for attending (listen to audio file below):

The classes are on Saturday and Sunday July 23 and 24, and the number to ring to register is 451098.
