Marine nature reserve for Ramsey

More than 200 responses to a public consultation have helped shape the future of Ramsey Bay.

It's hoped the establishment of a marine nature reserve will encourage marine ecotourism, leisure activities and education.

The reserve will be divided into five zones, called Conservation, Horse Mussel, Fisheries Management, Eelgrass and Rocky Shore.

The Manx government's marine diversity officer Dr Fiona Gell says monitoring the success of the project will be crucial:
