Diversify more: LVP candidate warns

by isleofman.com 7th July 2011

A Liberal Vannin candidate in this September's General Election says the Island needs the finance sector but also needs more diversification.

Kate Beecroft is standing for election in South Douglas, her third attempt to be elected in a third constituency.

Mrs Beecroft from Union Mills has 20 years experience in the finance sector and has worked in Baghdad and the West Indies.

She says the Island can't afford to rely on just one industry.
