WORLD Superbike rider James Toseland will be back in action this weekend following a serious injury.
The BMW Italia rider, who lives in Port Soderick, broke his wrist in March.
He is due to compete in the practice session tomorrow (Friday) at Brno in the Czech Republic. The double world champion will then make a decision whether to continue for the rest of the weekend and his team are prepared for the possibility he won't be able to race, motorsport website www.crash.net is reporting.
Should he be unable to race, Lorenzo Lanzi – who deputised for Toseland at the Misano and Motorland Aragon rounds of the championship – will replace him.
