JOURNALIST and broadcaster John Sergeant will be the guest speaker at the JCC's 20th anniversary dinner tomorrow (Friday) night.
It takes place at the Viscount Suite at the Mount Murray Hotel and Country Club in Santon.
John is best known for his career with the BBC. He joined the corporation in 1970 and worked as a war correspondent in Vietnam, Israel and Northern Ireland, becoming political correspondent in 1981.
During his extensive career he has presented the BBC Radio 4 programmes Today and The World At One.
His career has also included appearances on Strictly Come Dancing, The One Show, Grime Fighters and also a series on British Indian Railways - On Tracks of Empire.
Lieutenant Governor Adam Wood will also be attending the black-tie event as the JCC's new patron.
