Minister hopes to see studio better used

The minister for economic development says he is disappointed the film studio outside Ramsey hasn't had more use.

Allan Bell has been defending the Isle of Man's film industry, after it came in for criticism during question time in Tynwald recently.

He says the films themselves may not have made money, but the Island's economy has benefited to the tune of ?250 million, through the use of hotels and other local facilities.

He says the studio has been a great help for the industry, and hopes it can be better used in the future:
