THE I Love Manx campaign has produced a third edition of the Guide to Isle of Man Food and Drink.
The guide contains details of local food producers and information on local processors and retailers where local produce can be purchased.
John Shimmin MHK, Minister for the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture, said: "I note that this edition has more pages than previous ones in order to accommodate the details of a growing number of local producers.
"It is very heartening to see that interest in, and support for, local Manx produce is increasing and I hope that everyone will enjoy reading the guide and using it to find their favourite local food and drink products – or to try some new ones."
Ray Craine, the chairman of the Manx National Farmers' Union, said: "The agricultural and fisheries industries on the Island produce high quality products of which we can all be proud and there is an increasing number of people who use them to create great tasting food and drink.
"The guide illustrates how convenient it is to find local produce so that you can enjoy its freshness and quality. I hope you find the guide both useful and informative."
The I Love Manx guide is being distributed to all residential postal addresses in the Island and will also be available from the Welcome Centre at the Sea Terminal in Douglas, agricultural shows and the Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival in September. Copies are also available from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture building in St Johns.
