HERE are some photos from today's Tynwald Day proceedings at St John's.

There was heavy rain although it did become lighter - and even stopped - on occasions.

The weather did seem to have an impact on the number of visitors attending St John's with some choosing to stay at home due to the very damp conditions.

However those that attended enjoyed the ceremony and Tynwald Fair where a number of charities and organisations had stalls.
