ISLE of Man companies dominated the recent International Fund and Product Awards.

Eight out of 14 categories were won by Isle of Man companies and Island based firms were highly commended in seven categories.

The awards have been running for 12 years and are judged by an independent panel of industry experts.

Economic Development Minister Allan Bell MHK said: "We are pleased to see Isle of Man companies enjoying another year's success at these prestigious awards.

"Winning these awards demonstrate the number of companies in the Isle of Man who are recognised as leaders in their sector.

"The government is pleased to provide support to these companies to enable them to continue as leaders in international financial services."

This year saw the introduction of a category for the QROPS sector and a special award was given to Boal & Co for innovation in that sector.

Canada Life International was given a special award for excellence in service standards.
