Manx second overall in NatWest Island Games

The curtain has come down on the NatWest Island Games in the Isle of Wight.

The Isle of Man finished second overall, with 26 golds, 22 silver and 20 bronze medals.

They were sandwiched between Guernsey and third placed Jersey.

The Manx team said farewell at last night's closing ceremony.

Successes on the sixth and final day of competition included an individual gold medal for Josh Green in the badminton hall. 

There will be more reports on Manx Radio's Saturday Sport this afternoon.
