THERE will be a whole host of attractions for the family to enjoy at Ramsey RNLI Lifeboat Day tomorrow (Saturday, July 2).

The day will be centred in the area around the RNLI lifeboat station on Queens Promenade and will run from 11am to late afternoon.

The lifeboat crew, assisted by families and friends, is looking forward to welcoming visitors to the event which will raise much needed funds to help lifeboats to continue saving lives at sea.

Highlights will include rescue demonstrations with Ramsey and Douglas lifeboats and the Isle of Man Coastguard, static displays by the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue service, Alistair the Ambulance, Manx dancers, pom-pom dancers, have a go kayaking with the Venture Centre, have a go radio controlled model boats with the Manx Model Boat Club, a steam engine, bouncy castle, live music and much more.

Ramsey Ladies Lifeboat Guild will also be in action with their annual street collection and flag day.

However the proposed beach racing with the Manx Grass and Sand Racing Club and evening entertainment has had to be postponed until a date later in the summer.
