Swimmers make waves in Isle of Wight

The women's swim team have been making waves on the Isle of Wight this morning.

Charlotte Atkinson is through to the 200m Butterfly final this evening, with the second best time in the heats of 2.25.23. She is also into the final of the 50m Backstroke with the fifth fastest time of 31.72.

Hannah Howitt was twelfth with a time of 33.41, also in the 50m backstroke.

Poppy Evans and Stephanie Brew came a respectable 9th and 11th in the 100m Individual Medley.

Stephanie was 16th in the 100m Freestyle heats, while Laura Kinley achieved 11th place.

Last night our swimmers were also out in force at the Medina pool on the Isle of Wight. 

Charlotte Atkinson took the win in the 200m Backstroke and Laura Kinley third place in the 100m Breaststroke.

Although the Isle of Man team lost out in the 4x100m Freestyle final, Atkinson managed fifth in the final of the 400m Freestyle.
