Standard Bank launches fixed rate deposit account for Island residents

by isleofman.com 30th June 2011

STANDARD Bank Isle of Man has launched a further fixed term, fixed rate deposit account exclusively for Island residents.

It follows the success of its market leading savings product launched earlier this year.

The new product, which replaces the previous offer, pays a highly competitive rate of interest of 3.05 per cent gross/AER on maturity, fixed for 12 months.

Standard Bank's 12 Month Fixed Term Deposit – Issue 2, is available to any Island resident with a
minimum deposit of £25,000 and a maximum deposit of £1 million.

It is available now for a limited period and is only available to personal applicants.

Standard Bank Isle of Man chief executive John Coyle said: "The feedback from Island residents in response to our recent product launch has been exceptional.

"Standard Bank Group has been serving customers around the globe for nearly 150 years and today provides a range of banking and wealth management services from offices in 33 countries around the world.

"We are now gaining a reputation locally for offering additional choice to Island based savers and are pleased to offer another highly competitive rate."
