Appeal for information after man is assaulted in Peel

POLICE are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Peel yesterday afternoon.

 

The man was punched by another man a number of times which caused him to fall from the pavement into the road.

 

It happened at around 4pm on Douglas Street, near to the junction of Michael Street.

 

Police believe the assault was witnessed by a number of people and has asked anyone with information to contact PC Tom Gascoyne of the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team on 01624 842208. Alternatively telephone Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
