Competition to create new ice cream flavour

by isleofman.com 30th June 2011

PEOPLE on the Isle of Man are being asked to come up with a new ice cream flavour as part of a competition to celebrate Children's Week.

Davisons will manufacture the winning recipe which will be sold in all Davisons Ice Cream parlours between July 10 and July 16.

Ian Davison, managing director of Davisons, said: "Davisons is pleased to support The Children's Centre and help promote Children's Week on the Isle of Man.

"The Children's Centre offers an invaluable service to the children of the Island and as a Manx company Davisons are committed to supporting local charities and organisations as much as possible.

"We believe that as the Manx community supports our business it is our duty to put back into the community and help with sponsorship and support for local organisations charities."

40p from each ice cream sold will go towards The Children's Centre's services for family and children across the Island.

The competition is open to everyone. All you need to do is send your recipe idea, with your name, address and telephone number, to gracephillips@thechildrenscentre.org.im. The closing date for entries is July 4.
