Schools to open as normal on Thursday

by isleofman.com 28th June 2011

SCHOOLS in the Isle of Man will be open as normal on Thursday despite strike action planned in England and Wales.

Teachers in the Isle of Man are not participating in the industrial action set for the last day of June.

It is thought that the strike by the National Union of Teachers and the Association of Teachers and Lecturers will disrupt thousands of schools across the two countries.
