A musician from Ramsey has won the 2011 Young Musician of Mann.
Illiam Quane, solo cornet player at Ramsey Town Band, was crowned the top player at the competition finals at the Erin Arts Centre on Sunday afternoon.
Peter Mitchell from Douglas Town Band was second and Ellen Quane – the winner of the competition in 2009 – also from Ramsey Town Band was third.
