Port St Mary man located safe and well

A 19 YEAR old man who was reported as missing over the weekend has been located safe and well.

 

Jamie Lamont-Gilroy was last known to have boarded the 8.45am sailing from the Isle of Man to Heysham on Tuesday but his movements after disembarking were unknown.

 

Friends had appealed to him to get in touch with them or his family using the social networking site Facebook.

 

PC Mark Langley of the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "I would like to pass on my own thanks and those of Jamie's family to all those who contacted the police with sightings and information regarding Jamie’s whereabouts. 

 

"Jamie has now been in contact with his family who are very grateful to those who were able to assist the police in their enquiries."
