Gold for clay target shooters in the Isle of Wight

The Isle of Man's Universal Trench clay target shooting team have triumphed at the Island Games.

Neil Parsons and Philip Ward scored an aggregate of 187 in the final to hold off the teams from Menorca and Gibraltar, who scored 182 and 177 respectively.

Universal Trench sees shooters pitted against a targets launched from five traps in a random order. Two shots are allowed against each target, with no penalty in scoring
