FRIENDS of a 19 year old man from Port St Mary who has been reported missing have appealed for him to get in touch with them.
Jamie Lamont-Gilroy was last known to have boarded the 8.45am sailing from the Isle of Man to Heysham on Tuesday but his movements after disembarking are unknown.
He is described as approximately 5'8" tall with a spotted complexion and collar length mousey untidy hair which is brushed forward.
He was last seen wearing a light coloured jacket, black jeans and white trainers when he boarded the boat at Douglas and was carrying a black holdall which may have had yellow writing on it.
PC Mark Langley of the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "Jamie's family, as well as the police, obviously have concerns as to Jamie's whereabouts and welfare and would appeal to anyone who may have seen or spoken to Jamie, either on the sailing to Heysham or through other means such as Facebook, to please contact the police.
"I would like to emphasise that Jamie is not in any trouble or subject of any police enquiries other than to establish his current location and to ensure that he is safe and well. Any information would be gratefully received."
