Bus dispute 'could have been avoided' claim

by isleofman.com 27th June 2011

Unrest at the new Island bus timetable last autumn could have been avoided, so says an MHK seeking re-election this September.

Malew and Santon member Graham Cregeen has confirmed he’ll contest September’s General Election.

He was involved in the initial process to review the new network which eventually led to wide-ranging changes to the new timetable and some unrest amongst travellers and drivers.

However, Mr Cregeen believes that could have been averted.
