Business as usual for Habitat

by isleofman.com 25th June 2011

Tynwald Mills has moved to reassure its customers after administrators were called in to furniture chain Habitat in the United Kingdom.

On Friday, it was announced the firm had sold its London stores and would keep selling goods under the Habitat brand, but outlets elsewhere in the UK were to close.

Vicky Wilson, senior manager at Tynwald Mills, says the Island store in St John’s is unaffected by the turmoil in the UK.

She says Habitat is here to stay.
