Some of the fun of Laxey village fair has been moved to this afternoon (Saturday), after the main event yesterday evening fell victim to the weather.
Part of the 40th anniversary event, including singing by children from the village primary school, went ahead in the Working Men's Institute.
But outdoor attractions and activities, including refreshment and catering stalls, a bouncy castle and other amusements for children will now be staged in the Valley Gardens, from 1pm today.
Ant and Bee from the Laxey Mines Railway will be operating throughout the day, and live bands are invited to go along.
